Scripture is our number one resource in identifying prophetic events that have, or will, come to pass. Since making this video I've got some updates which I'll include here. The Original Text first though:
Micah 5:5
And
this One (Christ) shall be peace...
.. ( but ) ..
When the Assyrian
comes into our land
And when he treads
in our palaces,
Then we will raise
against him
Seven shepherds and
eight princely men.
6They
shall waste with the sword the land of Assyria,
And the land of
Nimrod at its entrances;
Thus He shall
deliver us from the Assyrian,
When
he comes into our land
And
when he treads within our borders.
Isaiah 14:25
That I will break
the Assyrian in My land,
And on My mountains
tread him underfoot.
Then his yoke shall
be removed from them,
And his burden
removed from their shoulders.
Genesis 49:16
“Dan shall judge
his people As one of the tribes of Israel. 17 Dan
shall be a serpent* by the way, A viper
by the path, That bites the horse’s heels So that its rider shall
fall backward. 18 I have waited for your salvation, O
LORD!
Deuteronomy 33:22
And of Dan
he (Moses) said: “Dan is a lion’s
whelp; He shall leap from
Bashan.”
Isaiah 10:24
Therefore thus says
the Lord GOD of hosts: “O My people, who dwell in Zion, do
not be afraid of the Assyrian. He shall strike you with a rod
and lift up his staff against you, in the manner of Egypt. 25
For yet a very little while and the
indignation will cease, as will My anger in their
destruction.”
Isaiah 30:31
For through the
voice of the LORD Assyria
will be beaten down, As He strikes with the rod. (Isa
30:29-33)
Ezekiel 31:10
“Therefore thus
says the Lord GOD: ‘Because you have increased in height, and it
set its top among the thick boughs, and its
heart was lifted up in its height, 11 therefore I
will deliver it into the hand of the mighty one of the nations, and
he shall surely deal with it; I have driven it out for its
wickedness. (All of 31 is talking
about a great 'cedar tree' - Assyria, and warning Egypt it
will suffer the same consequence)
The Lie
There is a tie in to
Judas Iscariot (when satan entered him), which may be found in
Genesis 49. Judas may be the only disciple from the tribe of Judah,
and in Genesis 49:9 Jacob prophecies over his sons. In Genesis 49:9
Judah is
called a "lions whelp", which ties in to
Deuteronomy 33:22. Genesis 49 then goes on “the scepter will not
depart from Judah until Shiloh comes.” Deuteronomy 33:22 then says
Dan is a
"Lions whelp he
shall leap from Bashan". This I believe is
referring to the
seat from which the AC is revealed (begins his
'ministry'), and then he will point to Genesis 49:9 and 10 and say
that the "scepter" has been passed to him (from the tribe
of Judah to the tribe of Dan).
NB
A lion's whelp kills
for sport, a grown Lion does not.
The reference to
"Lion's Whelp" in Genesis 49 I believe is referring to
Judas Iscariot who was from the Tribe of Judah, Gen 49 then rolls
directly into the Messiah in Gen 49:10
Updates:
Another possible link today (while watching Rahegene Cherry II on the Parable of the Vineyard Livestream). Relates to Judas/Judah and Bashan - Psalm 22::12 Many bulls have surrounded Me; Strong bulls of Bashan have encircled Me. 13 They gape at Me with their mouths, Like a raging and roaring lion. .. 21 Save Me from the lion’s mouth And from the horns of the wild oxen!
The bulls of Bashan, I think, relate to Principalities and Powers, the references to Lion and Bashan Link it to Deuteronomy 33:22 and Genesis 49:9, 10 and 16, and the Horns confirm the P&P connection. Worth musing over at least.
